This is a position for someone who loves to make gear and is interested in making that happen on a big(ger) scale, taking our existing production from workshop level to a full factory. You will need to always be looking forward to new ways to create, improve and perfect the fabrication and assembly process. Trail Crew Leader – Youth Volunteer Vacations

Washington Trails Association is seeking a Trail Crew Leader who loves working with teens and shares our belief that everyone should feel included in the hiking community. The Trail Crew Leader works outdoors leading teen volunteers on 8-day Youth Volunteer Vacations, where crews will build and maintain trails on public lands while camping in various frontcountry and backcountry locations across Washington. One trip this summer will be a shared-identity trip specifically for LGBTQ+ teens, with the goal of cultivating a sense of belonging for LGBTQ+ youth in the WTA volunteer community.

American Conservation Experience, a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with Yosemite National Park, is seeking 1 member to contribute to the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Council project alongside National Park Service staff. The DEIA Council Member will assist with YOSE’s DEIA Council, a grassroots group of employees, to provide structure and focus on DEIA within the park. Responsibilities include event planning, developing a newsletter, training, and grant review. This individual placement is meant to facilitate professional development and promotes exposure to land management agencies and networking with professionals. This could include gaining experience in different conservation fields and shadowing different work groups.

This role reports directly to the President and CEO, who serves as a mentor and provides guidance and training at each step.
