Industry Support for SJ Brooks Scholarship

In our fourth year, Radical Adventure Riders are asking the cycling industry to help expand and increase financial funding and gear donations for the 2021 SJ Brooks Scholarship. 

Supporting the scholarship will expand your company’s footprint on increasing racial equity and gender inclusivity in the cycling community. See last year’s recipients and supporters to learn what the scholarship is all about.

Alongside a community fundraiser, we want to give the cycling and outdoors industries the opportunity to be part of the scholarship also. Learn about all the different opportunities to get involved!

Scholarship Funding Support

We are in need of financial support for up to twenty recipients. We have three tiers for you to support:

• Gold: $5k+ 
• Silver: $3k+ 
• Bronze: $1k+ 

*In-kind gear donations also apply to tier levels

Scholarship In-Kind Support

We are seeking in-kind gear and bike support for ten recipients:

• Bikes including mountain, gravel, touring, adaptable, and electric.
• Bike essentials including helmet, tools, locks, lights, hand pumps, water bottles, and navigation computers.
• Camping equipment including bike bags, tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cookware, stove, water filter, headlamp and etc.
• Clothing including cycling shorts and cycling shirts, down jackets, and rain jackets.
• Literature related to cycling and the outdoors.

What Your Support Gets

Your support helps up to twenty recipients to realize their bicycle dreams and you also get these opportunities:

• Exposure to entities that are coming into the cycling world 
• Your logo will be on promotional materials for the scholarship
• Your logo will be in our email newsletters for scholarships
• You will be mentioned on our social media as a supporting partner for the scholarship
• Your logo will be featured as a supporter on our website for at least one year
