RAR Northeast Autumn Retreat

Have you heard? RAR Northeast Chapters are collaborating to create an autumn retreat in Topsham, VT, from Sept 13 to 16, 2024!

WHAT IS RAR NAR?

The first-ever Radical Adventure Riders Northeast Autumn Retreat is a long weekend full of workshops, group rides, shared meals, bonfire stories, community building, bike skills, and joy!

The theme for the inaugural retreat is Bike Liberation. This means our event will have an emphasis on social justice and creating gender and racial equity in cycling spaces. Come build your skills so you can go home and create radical change in your local community!

You will find us snuggling by the bonfire, swimming in a spring-fed pond, foraging for wild edible plants, practicing our gravel riding skills, and creating life-long friendships, all nestled in the woods of rural Vermont.

*Please recognize this retreat is intended for FTWNB (femme, trans, women, and non-binary) folks only. If you do not identify as such but would still like to support the retreat, please donate to the Retreat Fundraiser page!*

REGISTER TO ATTEND!

July 12 at 10am
Registration opens for BIPOC, Trans & Non-Binary individuals

July 26 at 10am
Registration opens for all other Women & Femme individuals* (see note below)

In order to recognize that BIPOC and trans folks face additional barriers to outdoor recreation/cycling spaces, we will be prioritizing registration for BIPOC, Trans & Non-binary folks for this event by opening registration for them first. We trust you as the registrants to select the registration date that accurately reflects your identities.

*PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are first come, first served. Since we are prioritizing BIPOC, Trans & Non-binary participants by opening up registration for them first, it is not guaranteed that there will still be spots available for General Admission. If there are still spots available, we will open them up for General Admission for all other women & femme participants on July 26th. Once all spots are sold out, the official registration page will be updated with a link to our first come, first served Waitlist.

FREE REGISTRATION WITH RAR PHILLY AG FUND

RAR Philadelphia will be generously covering four (!!!!) registration fees plus gas stipend for the RARNAR.

The RAR Philadelphia AG Fund was created in honor of RAR Philly’s organizer and dear friend Andrea Gonzalez who was killed in a bike crash on October 21, 2023. In order to honor her legacy, the organizing committee of RAR Philly has allocated funds to create a scholarship for folks to attend this event. This scholarship is only available to FTWNB (femme, trans, non-binary) folks and BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color) will be prioritized.

Deadline to apply is July 24th!
