MARIA AMBRIZ

Maria Ambriz was born in Mexico City and raised in South Central LA.  She studied Latin American History and Literature at the University of California in Santa Cruz (UCSC) and at University of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque.  Maria loves the sound of the ocean, camping with her family and swimming.  She teaches Mexican Literature and History at Cal State University, Los Angeles.
