Esker Cycles is hiring, and we want someone to help us keep our customers stoked, and ensure each customer gets exactly what they need. This position will involve partially being on a computer and helping customers with their needs, and partially being in the warehouse to get those customers what they need, as well as assist in getting orders out the door. Either way, your job is to make sure our customers get what they need, and feel warm and welcome in the Esker family. This position will start approximately mid-March. 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm (32 hours). $23-$26/hour depending on experience. Esker also provides paid vacation accrual, a health insurance stipend, a yearly bicycle parts allowance, and pass-through pricing on gear.

Founded in 2014, Bicycle Transit Systems (Bike Transit) is a woman-owned business that operates and manages the Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Las Vegas bike share programs as well as a nation-wide customer service call center. Our mission is to operate bike share systems that creates connections in our communities and protect our planet. Bike Transit employees provide safe, seamless, reliable, and memorable customer experiences, and create mutually-rewarding relationships with our riders, suppliers, and clients. We are currently looking for a dedicated Bike Mechanic to join our Philadelphia team! The Bicycle Mechanic position is responsible for assisting in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of the Indego bike share fleet. Reporting to the Bike Mechanic Supervisor, the Mechanic will complete safety inspections and repairs on bicycles in the shop and the field, as well as assist with battery swapping, bike assembly, and other operational work as needed. This position will require riding a cargo bike loaded with equipment and navigating the city safely by bicycle. This position will entail outdoor work with high exposure to the public and potentially inclement weather. Bike shop experience is preferred, and urban riding experience is a must. Mechanics will receive full training on the specific maintenance requirements of the bicycles; however, experience working in mechanically and technically minded environments is required. A strong candidate will support Bike Transit’s commitment to a strong and positive workplace culture.
